The Guild
/ Arts / Commissioned by University College London /
The Guild is a theatrical game enabling its audience to explore institutional power, cultural norms, worthiness, otherness and erasure.
The Guild was a theatre game experience produced as part of an AHRC-funded collaboration between researchers at UCL, University of Nottingham, Accentuate, UWE and interactive storymakers Splash & Ripple, to explore the ways that live games can help us explore concepts and ideas. The title of the game is a reference to the Guild of Brave Poor Things, a Victorian era institution for people with disabilities in Bristol.
